Social Media Content Specialist: Luxury Resale & Live Selling

Content Creator is needed in New York, United States.

We’re a fast-growing luxury resale and live-selling business specializing in high-end designer pieces (think Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and similar). We’re looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to grow our Instagram presence and turn our inventory into scroll-stopping content.
Schedule: Part-time, with a flexible schedule you help set. Hybrid: in-person for filming live sales and product (NYC area), remote for editing and planning.
What you’ll do:
• Build episodic, series-based content: recurring formats and mini-series (new-arrival drops, authentication breakdowns, styling episodes, sourcing diaries) that give followers a reason to come back
• Conceptualize, film, and edit Reels and posts that showcase our pieces, our live sales, and our brand aesthetic
• Own our Instagram content calendar and posting cadence
• Grow our following and engagement through strategic, trend-aware content
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments from live-selling events
• Track performance and adjust strategy based on what’s working
What we’re looking for:
• Experience building episodic or series-based content that keeps an audience coming back (this is a top priority for us)
• Proven experience growing an Instagram account (portfolio or account examples required)
• Strong eye for luxury and elevated aesthetics: you understand what makes designer goods look aspirational on camera
• Comfortable filming and editing on your own (phone or camera, your call)
• Familiarity with Reels trends, hooks, and short-form video best practices
• Bonus: experience with resale, fashion, or live shopping platforms (Whatnot, TikTok Shop, etc.)
