About us: Mattress Makers is a third generation, family owned mattress company in San Diego. We handcraft our mattresses and sell direct to consumer. Our marketing voice is warm, honest, and educational. No gimmicks, no hard sell. The project: We are shooting a Hormozi style educational video ad for Meta and YouTube. It is our founder talking to camera in our showroom, teaching shoppers how to spot a mattress that will sag, with simple product demos such as pressing into foam and showing our zippered mattress top and materials. The aim is to keep the video clean, authentic, and trustworthy, rather than flashy or overproduced. The deliverables are one 75 to 90 second hero video featuring talking to camera plus demo and b-roll, three short vertical cutdowns (15 to 30 seconds each) for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, and b-roll footage of the showroom, materials, and the factory. We need clean audio and simple, natural lighting. The shoot will last roughly half a day at our San Diego showroom. No editing is needed. We will provide the script, shot list, and hooks. Ideally, you are local to San Diego, have experience with short form social ads or talking head content, can direct a non-actor founder to get natural takes, and can deliver the recorded footage formatted for Meta and YouTube.
