Job Description

We are a small but fast-growing, direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand specializing in high-quality, creative DIY crochet kits. We are looking for a nimble, multi-talented digital marketer to scale our paid ads and organic video presence. This is a unique role for a creator who loves both the analytical side of paid advertising and the creative side of short-form video production. We would very much lean on you for your expertise as we are new to the e-commerce world.

Position Type

• Schedule: Part-time (approx. 10–20 hours per week to start).
• Location: Hybrid (In-person filming and strategy sessions in Austin Texas/Lakeway Area], with flexible remote hours for editing and ad management).

Key Responsibilities

• Paid Advertising: Manage, optimize, and scale paid traffic campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
• Affiliate Management: Source, vet, and manage creators within the TikTok Shop / TikTok Affiliate ecosystem to drive product sales.
• Content Production: Concept, script, and film high-conversion short-form video ads (UGC-style) and organic TikToks/Reels.
• Video Editing: Cut, pace, and polish videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut, focusing on strong hooks and clear calls-to-action (CTAs).
• Trend Spotting: Monitor social media trends, viral audio, and competitor ad strategies to quickly pivot our creative angles.
• Conversion Optimization: Analyze video performance metrics to understand what hooks and formats successfully turn viewers into paying customers.

Requirements

• DTC Experience: Proven track record of running social ads that directly generate e-commerce sales and measurable return on ad spend (ROAS).
• Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and the mechanics of TikTok Shop/Affiliates.
• Creative Technical Skills: Proficient in filming on mobile devices and editing seamlessly in Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• Direct-Response Mindset: You understand the psychology of online buyers and know how to structure a 15-second video to convert.
• Self-Starter Attitude: Comfortable wearing multiple hats, working closely with the founder, and executing ideas from scratch.

Preferred (But Not Required)

• A personal interest in crafting, crochet, or the DIY maker community.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $35.00 - $80.00 per hour
