Job Description

NIMBL Studio is hiring a talented graphic designer with specialized expertise in pitch deck design to join our contractor network as a freelance, remote Pitch Deck Specialist. You’ll craft visually engaging presentations that communicate complex ideas clearly and support our clients’ fundraising, marketing, or strategic initiatives, along with supporting brand and marketing collateral for a range of clients.

This is a freelance, project-based position. Work is assigned through our contractor portal and compensated per project using our credit system, with rates negotiated individually per contractor.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing pitch decks / investor decks (portfolio required)
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Figma. Keynote, and/or Canva a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for custom graphics and print-ready assets
• Solid grasp of visual hierarchy, typography, and data visualization for slides
• Strong understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling techniques
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively
• Ability to work independently, hit deadlines, and take direction from written briefs
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor (this is not a W-2 position)
• Experience in Pitch Deck Design: 3 years (Required)
• Experience in Figma: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design pitch decks, investor presentations, and sales decks that are visually compelling and on-brand
• Translate rough content, outlines, or notes into a clear visual narrative and slide structure
• Build and maintain reusable templates, slide libraries, and design systems for recurring clients
• Collaborate with account leads and clients to revise decks through multiple feedback rounds
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining design consistency
• Occasionally support adjacent design work (one-pagers, sales collateral, social assets)

Compensation

• Hourly rate: Negotiated based on experience
• Per-credit project rate via NIMBL’s contractor portal
• Payments processed monthly through our contractor portal
• Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
