Job Description

WHY Brands Inc. is seeking a Digital Designer for a two to three month temporary assignment. The role involves working within brand guidelines while expanding them creatively. The designer will engage in digital, mobile, and social platforms, collaborating with copywriters, web developers, and graphic designers. Responsibilities include photo retouching, creating digital branding, supporting ongoing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency, conceptualizing style guides, directing photography efforts, managing creative strategy, and producing various digital assets.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 plus years of digital art direction or related creative process experience.
• Knowledge of digital (HTML, etc.) and video/animation software (Flash, After Effects).
• Good eye for photography and understanding of UX design principles.
• Working knowledge of multimedia design; experience building print and digital files.
• Proven ability to execute visionary design strategies.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, InDesign, and Figma.
• Expert knowledge of the Macintosh platform and graphic production process.
• Strong portfolio of social graphic design and web/UX design, ideally in consumer products or lifestyle brands.

Additional Information

This assignment is hybrid, requiring onsite work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Tuesday and Friday. The hourly pay range is $45.00 to $55.00 (DOE).
