Job Description

Legal Videographer – Camera Operator – 1099 Freelancer

The B&A Litigation Services team is seeking camera operators who are versatile and detail-oriented multimedia production professionals to join our contractor pool for Legal Videographers. As a legal videographer, you will primarily support legal proceedings by capturing depositions, both remote and in-person. The ideal candidate works confidently and independently in a professional setting, is familiar with camera operation, and resides in the Seattle / Tacoma area. Experience in legal proceedings is a plus, but not required, as training and equipment will be provided. Green and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply along with seasoned freelancers.

Hours: Job assignments vary and are usually scheduled between normal business hours (7 am-6 pm) Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal videography: Capturing professional video proceedings of remote and in-person depositions.
• Creative Technician: Support the B&A Litigation Services video team with video production, editing work, and create visually engaging graphics for use by our team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Enjoys being a fly on the wall.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proven experience as a videographer or in a similar role.
• Experience with live streaming and video capture software, such as Zoom and OBS, not required but is a plus.
• Proficient in video editing.
• Strong understanding of camera operation, production set-ups, and audio equipment, not required but is a plus.

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
