Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Programmer to join their team. As a Python Programmer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the ETL framework development and data processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $65

Requirements

What’s Needed?

• Extensive Python coding skills with the ability to read and translate Perl code
• Experience with MS SQL Server, including advanced Transact SQL skills
• Knowledge of MongoDB is beneficial
• Experience developing within an Agile environment using JIRA and Bitbucket
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with team members and operational partners

Job Responsibilities

What’s the Job?

• Design and develop ETL processes to support data integration and transformation projects
• Translate Perl code to Python to improve system efficiency and maintainability
• Collaborate with operational partners and fellow developers to validate functionality and ensure quality
• Contribute to framework development for data processing architectures
• Utilize Agile methodologies, including JIRA and Bitbucket, to manage development tasks and version control
