Job Description

Guidewire Portal developer with Jutro experience is needed in Vancouver, BC or REMOTE. The role involves designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements by leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills. The developer will direct the development team throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring high-quality solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code while setting coding standards for the team.
• Ensuring alignment of clients and vendor code with Guidewire recommended guidelines and best practices.
• Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design.
• Ensuring product alignment with OOTB Guidewire product and analyzing requirements for customization.
• Working with Guidewire to log tickets and understand future cloud release features.
• Overseeing daily tasks for developers and conducting code reviews.
• Proactively identifying gaps in development logic and assisting the team in complex challenges.
• Conducting impact analysis and leading implementation of complex solutions.
• Providing technical consulting to business analysts and technical associates.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
