Job Description

The candidate will provide data analysis and management for various COVID Data Dashboards and distribute COVID data to external entities and the public. The contractor will perform data management and analytic tasks, including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, writing and executing unit test plans, resolving and testing defects, providing customer technical support, and collaborating closely with other team members.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted.
• 6 years’ experience with development in medium to large-scale technical projects, ensuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.
• 6 years’ experience with data analytics, including processing, reporting, transformation, and visualization.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience with Python-based data analytics projects.
• 6 years’ experience with relational and NoSQL databases (such as Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows).
• 6 years’ experience with developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines.
• 6 years’ experience in developing cloud-native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms.
• 6 years’ experience in designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1 million+ records) on analytics platforms such as Tableau.
