Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for an SEO & AI Search Specialist to improve our organic visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI search experiences. This role is responsible for technical SEO, keyword research, content strategy, structured data (schema), AI search optimization, high-quality backlink acquisition, performance reporting, and ongoing recommendations that increase qualified organic traffic.

Employment Type: Part-Time Contract

Location: Remote, but must be physically located in Canada or the US

Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per month

Requirements

Platforms & Tools:

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics 4
• SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Screaming Frog
• Schema validation tools
• Google Tag Manager (preferred)

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with technical SEO and website optimization in security, telecommunications, or technology industries.
• Strong keyword research and content strategy skills.
• Experience implementing structured data (schema).
• Experience developing and executing high-quality backlink acquisition strategies.
• Understanding of AI search optimization and evolving search trends.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing lead.

Expectations

We are not looking for someone who simply publishes blog posts. We want an SEO & AI Search Specialist who understands the evolving search landscape and can build a strategy that combines technical SEO, high-quality content, structured data, AI search optimization, and authoritative backlink acquisition. The successful candidate should proactively identify opportunities, prioritize work based on business impact, and provide clear monthly reporting with measurable progress.
