Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 10+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. The role focuses heavily on data pipelines, ETL development, and financial systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven solutions
• Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and workflows
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes and support

Requirements

• 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python development
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Solid experience in building ETL processes and data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and design principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to debug complex systems and optimize performance

Nice to Have

• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or PySpark
• Exposure to financial domain or enterprise financial systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Compensation

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
