Job Description

Eye Am Captain LLC is seeking a Visual Content Producer (Music & Artist Development) for a part-time contractor position. This role involves creating a cohesive visual identity for artists and music releases, collaborating consistently, and transforming everyday creative moments into compelling visual stories. You will work alongside artists during recording sessions, rehearsals, performances, photoshoots, and music releases.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role are divided into several key areas:

Cinematography

• Capture cinematic video for music promotion.
• Film recording sessions.
• Document rehearsals.
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage.
• Record live performances.
• Help develop visual concepts for songs and releases.

Photography

• Artist portraits
• Promotional photography
• Album artwork
• Single cover photography
• Lifestyle photography
• Event photography

Creative Direction

• Contribute storytelling concepts
• Create mood boards
• Develop shot lists
• Suggest lighting ideas
• Identify creative locations
• Make wardrobe suggestions
• Define visual branding
• Conceptualize release campaigns

Video Editing

• Produce professional content for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

• Experience with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in production skills including:
• Professional cameras
• Lighting
• Audio recording
• Gimbals
• Drone footage (if licensed)
• Green screen
• Smoke or haze effects
• Studio production
• Color grading
• Motion graphics
• Understanding of AI, visual effects, and emerging creative tools such as:
• AI video generation tools
• AI image generation
• AI-assisted editing workflows
• Motion graphics
• Visual effects
• Compositing
• Digital environments
• Creative experimentation with new technology

Other Information

Compensation for the role is $25 - $35 per hour based on experience. The position requires 10 to 20 hours of work per week initially and is in-person. Owning your own equipment is a plus but not required. Eye Am Captain LLC provides some equipment including a Canon E05 R6, LED Lights, Green Screen, and Smoke Machine.
