Job Description

Role: .NET Programmer

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 Months

Employment Type: Contract

The project requires an experienced Systems Software Programmer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise applications. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable web applications while supporting the agency’s ongoing modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, Angular (PrimeNG), SQL Server, and enterprise web application development, requiring close collaboration with development teams, technical leads, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

· Develop scalable, data-driven applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.

· Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using Angular (PrimeNG), jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Design and implement web services, APIs, and WCF services.

· Develop, debug, unit test, integration test, and deploy software components.

· Participate in application architecture, system design, and technical solution discussions.

· Create and maintain technical documentation for application components and system designs.

· Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and stakeholders to define application requirements.

· Support source code management, build automation, deployment, and release activities using Team Foundation Server (TFS).

· Participate in integrated testing and production support activities.

· Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

· 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise applications using .NET technologies.

· 5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing relational database systems.

· 5+ years of experience building scalable web-based applications using N-tier architecture and complex security models.

· 5+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework.

· 5+ years of experience with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).

· 3+ years of experience with jQuery.

· 1+ year of experience with Angular (PrimeNG).

· Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

· Experience with source code management, build management, testing, and deployment.

Preferred Skills:

· Microsoft Visual Studio (2010/2013/2015)

· Team Foundation Server (TFS)

· IIS

· Entity Framework 6

· SSRS

· MS SQL Server 2016

· ASP.NET MVC 3 or higher
