Job Description

Barclays Services Corp. seeks a Senior ETL Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available). The role involves developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting ETL applications for the Market Surveillance Area. Responsibilities include code development and modification in surveillance projects, building and improving data pipelines, managing technical documentation, tuning stored procedures and queries, collaborating globally on projects, and following TDD/BDD methodologies. The position may allow telecommuting per company policies (hybrid role).

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Participation in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Staying informed of industry technology trends and contributing to the organization’s technology communities.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices and implementation of effective unit testing practices.

Compensation

Minimum Salary: $189,592 per year

Maximum Salary: $208,552 per year

The stated salary information includes only the base salary and does not encompass additional compensation or benefits. Barclays employees are eligible for a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and other paid leave for qualifying circumstances. This position is also eligible for an incentive award.
