Short-Form Video Editor for Known (the app killing swiping)Urgent
Known is a matchmaking app that offers real dates instead of swiping, games, and endless messaging. We’re looking for a remote, part-time short-form video editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
You’ll edit creator UGC, founder clips, event footage, and app-demo recordings into punchy 15–45 second videos, adding captions, hooks, cuts, music, and light motion graphics that match our earnest, authentic brand. Content includes dating skits and hot takes, product testimonials, GRWM-style videos, and event promo.
We provide raw footage plus direction (concepts, references, brand style); you bring fast turnaround, a strong feel for short-form pacing, and an eye for what makes people stop scrolling. Expect roughly [20-30 videos/month].
This is an ongoing, ASAP opportunity with potential for a long-term contract as we scale, more volume, bonuses, and creative ownership for the right person.
Must-haves:
Proven short-form editing (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
Fast turnaround and reliable communication
Strong instinct for hooks, captions, trending audio, and pacing
Proficiency in one of [Premiere / CapCut / DaVinci / After Effects / Final Cut Pro]
Nice-to-have: experience editing for consumer apps, dating, or lifestyle brands.
To apply: send your portfolio/reel plus 2-3 examples of short-form videos you’ve edited.
