Job Description

Mendix Low-Code Application Developer (100% Remote, US) is a contract position requiring the candidate to work Arizona hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST). The role involves delivering secure, scalable, user-centered solutions on the Mendix platform for an Arizona state agency. The contract duration is approximately 3-4 months, with a possibility of extension.

Requirements

• Hands-on Low-Code/No-Code platform experience, with a strong preference for Mendix.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience and familiarity with JIRA.
• Experience with SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
• Understanding of PCI compliance standards and automated testing experience.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; public-sector experience is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. W2 only; no C2C.
• Must be available for a virtual interview promptly if requested and able to start within two weeks of an offer.
• HireRight background check required.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop Mendix applications, including microflows and nanoflows, domain models, UI components and pages, and integrations/data sources.
• Assist Business Analysts with requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze and chart existing business processes; develop and document future-state processes, business rules, and workflow diagrams.
• Prepare UAT test cases and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders; perform data validation and QA within Mendix applications.
• Support pre-go-live testing and defect resolution; maintain project documentation.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum team, keeping the Scrum Master/PM informed of progress, risks, and action items.
