Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Freelance eCommerce CRO & UX/UI Designer to drive measurable improvements across the RestaurantSupply.com eCommerce experience. This role focuses on increasing conversion rate and revenue through data-driven UX/UI improvements, experimentation, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing commercial performance on high-traffic eCommerce websites and will be responsible for identifying customer journey friction, analyzing behavioral data, developing design solutions in Figma, and collaborating with developers and A/B testing teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience, especially in high-traffic eCommerce.
- Demonstrated success in creating UX/UI improvements that increased key commercial KPIs such as conversion rate and average order value.
- A strong portfolio showcasing eCommerce work, personal contributions, design processes, experimentation approaches, and measurable outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma or similar design tools.
- Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and usability optimization.
- Proficiency in behavioral and analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, etc.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce customer journeys.
- Ability to translate data and customer behavior into clear UX recommendations.
- Experience working closely with developers to implement designs accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for visual quality and documentation.
- Self-directed with a proactive approach to identifying and prioritizing opportunities.
Required Skills
- Experience optimizing high-revenue eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with B2B eCommerce or complex product catalogs.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify.
- Track record of significant revenue or conversion growth linked to UX/CRO initiatives.
- Experience in rapid experimentation with frequent A/B testing.
Compensation Package
This is an independent freelance/contract role without employee benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.
