Position Description:
CGI is seeking a talented Interface Developer (Pentaho & Enterprise Integrations) to join our ERP Implementation and Systems Integration team. In this role, you’ll help design and deliver integration solutions that enable seamless, secure, and reliable communication between enterprise ERP platforms and critical business applications. You will work alongside solution architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to build scalable integration solutions that support complex, mission-critical business processes. Responsibilities:
Your future duties and responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise system interfaces using Pentaho and related integration technologies.
- Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and other integration components that enable secure and reliable data exchange between enterprise applications.
- Build and support batch, real-time, and event-driven integrations across ERP platforms, cloud services, and third-party applications.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, validate, and load data across multiple source and target systems.
- Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to analyze business requirements and develop effective technical integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface, API, and data integration issues while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery processes to ensure stable production operations.
- Develop and maintain interface specifications, technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Ensure all integration solutions comply with established security, development, and data governance standards.
- Contribute to Agile delivery teams by participating in sprint planning, design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor production interfaces, proactively identify issues, and provide ongoing operational support.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise system integrations.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Pentaho integration and ETL development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services using JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience integrating ERP applications, enterprise systems, relational databases, and cloud-based services.
- Strong SQL development skills with experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational database platforms.
- Experience designing ETL workflows, data mappings, transformation logic, and data validation processes.
- Working knowledge of API authentication and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience using Git or other source control/version management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, functional, and client-facing teams.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,700.00 - $148,600.00.
