Job Description

As a Production/Motion Designer within the CNN Design group, your primary focus will be to create innovative, effective and arresting design in all aspects of television and studio production for CNN programs, specials, and documentaries. You will contribute to the creative direction on key projects and work comfortably with various aspects of the design and production process including ideation, design, animation, presentation, and delivery.

• This fixed term position is NYC based and hybrid.
• All shift assignments are based on business need and are subject to change.

Requirements

• A degree in motion design, animation, graphic design, or relevant experience.
• At least 2+ years professional experience producing high-end creative work for television.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Proficient knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D + Redshift (or other accelerated renderers) for motion design is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Plugins such as RedGiant, Boris FX, Sapphire, AE Expression, C4D Expresso, X-Particles, etc.
• Well-rounded and strong conceptual designer proficient in motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout.
• Design experience working with fast-changing deliverables and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule required.
• A good understanding of compositing techniques.
• Strong design/production portfolio required.
• A Reel is required, please be prepared to showcase 2-3 case studies and highlight specific contributions for each.

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation range for roles required by law. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors including external market data and performance. Pay Range: $113,750.00 - $211,250.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and programs-specific awards. Additionally, Warner Bros.
