Job Description

Muir Way creates unique maps and wall art inspired by national parks, outdoor adventures, and beautiful places around the world. Our products are sold online and displayed in homes, offices, cabins, and businesses across the country. We’re looking for a creative Video Content Creator to help us produce engaging video content for advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, and other digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, product demonstrations, filming, editing, and appearing on camera. You’ll help create videos that showcase our products in authentic, interesting, and visually appealing ways.

Responsibilities

• Create video content for paid advertising campaigns on Meta, YouTube, and other digital platforms
• Develop creative concepts, storylines, hooks, and video ideas
• Film product demonstrations, unboxings, room reveals, and lifestyle content
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage of our map-making process
• Appear on camera to discuss products, tell stories, and engage viewers
• Edit videos into polished, high-converting advertisements
• Test different creative approaches and messaging angles
• Collaborate with the owner and marketing team on campaign goals and content ideas
• Deliver multiple versions and variations of creative concepts

Requirements

• Experience filming and editing video content
• Comfortable speaking on camera and appearing in advertisements
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content ideas
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
• Understanding of what makes online advertising engaging and effective
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience creating UGC-style advertisements
• Experience creating content for Meta or YouTube ads
• Photography experience
• Motion graphics or animation skills
• Knowledge of direct-to-consumer brands and ecommerce marketing
• Interest in travel, maps, outdoor recreation, national parks, or home décor

This could be your home, apartment, office, studio, or another location you have permission to use. You’ll help create authentic lifestyle content that shows our maps being unboxed, displayed, discussed, and enjoyed in the kinds of spaces where our customers actually live and work.
