Job Description

Liquid Death is looking for a Senior Video Producer who is ready to dive into a fast-paced world and manage all things production - including budgeting, accounting, administrative tasks, crew management, scheduling, and logistics. You will join a small but mighty video production team and will work on bringing to life a variety of creative ideas as part of the Liquid Death marketing team. The role is dynamic, involving multiple video projects with quick lead times and requires collaboration with internal creative teams and external crew.

This position is a contract role expected to run through February 2027, reporting to the Director of Production and located remotely in Los Angeles, CA, with travel required up to 40% as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Production, Business, or related field preferred
• 8+ years of production experience with previous work experience as a Line Producer or Production Manager required
• 3 years as a Producer required
• In-house production company / agency experience preferred
• Proficiency in industry-standard budgeting software (i.e., Hotbudget, Showbiz, Moviemagic)
• Proficiency in Asana and working knowledge of Adobe CC suite preferred
• Familiarity with local resources in the Los Angeles market is required
• Deep comfort with a high-growth start-up environment, advanced problem-solving capability, and adaptability
• Self-starter who can operate with real autonomy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Willingness to travel up to 40% is required
• Occasionally lift and carry production equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally work evenings, weekends, and extended hours on production days

Key Responsibilities

• Production Leadership: Translate creative concepts into executable production plans, build production schedules, timelines, and budgets, identify production risks, and foster collaborative relationships across teams.
• Production Operations: Manage production logistics including location scouting, permits, crew scheduling, and deliverable tracking, and oversee post-production timelines.
• Budget & Financial Management: Maintain accounting procedures, report budget updates, partner with Finance, monitor budgets, track expenditures, and reconcile project budgets upon completion.
• Project Management: Staff and supervise teams, handle logistics, manage communication between freelancers and the internal team, and develop standardized workflows.
• Relationship Management: Manage relationships with freelancers, vendors, and clients, build strategic partnerships, facilitate alignment between creative vision and production feasibility.
• Creative Problem Solving: Work within constraints to develop creative solutions and collaborate to improve existing systems.

Compensation & Benefits
