I’m a director seeking a sound designer for full audio post-production on a 12-minute sci-fi psychological drama short, currently in the edit and approaching picture lock. The project is a proof-of-concept film for a future feature and will involve a one-time engagement, with potential for an ongoing creative relationship.

The film follows a man who builds a device to communicate across timelines to save his wife, only to discover that it is transforming him into what she fears. The sound design is central to the film, particularly the device’s transmissions across time, mechanical clicks, and physical presence in the room, all of which need to be created from scratch. The work may include sound editing, original composition, and complete audio post-production, with delivery preferred within three weeks.

This is a one-time project, but I’m hoping to continue to work with anyone who is a part of this project. The goal is to build a lasting relationship. This is a proof of concept film for the feature film that will go into pitching executives next year.
