Job Description

This is a Senior Level Cloud Architect role at Tri-Force Consulting Services, located at 2 Broadway - MTA Headquarters. The position requires the consultant to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely. The primary focus is on developing cloud architectures, frameworks, standards, governance, and policies for the organization.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in engaging with business users and other technology teams to understand and assess requirements and subsequently develop multi/hybrid cloud architectures. A degree of on-premises infrastructure knowledge is also necessary due to interactions with cloud resources and migration processes.

The organization seeks to advance their Infrastructure-as-Code practices in the near future.

Requirements

Certifications: A current Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is strongly preferred.

Experience:

• Azure: 6-10 years
• GCP: 1-2 years (ideally)
• AWS & OCI: Nice to have
• Hybrid On-Prem Knowledge: 4-6 years
• Cloud Networking: 4-6 years
• Cloud DevOps: 4-6 years
• Cloud Security: 2-3 years
• Cloud FinOps: 1-2 years
• Microsoft Visio: 2-3 years
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, services, frameworks, and governance.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Azure Cloud Platform.
• Experience managing multi-subscription Azure Tenant.
• Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud interoperability.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure ARM, or Pulumi.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and SIEM tools.
• Strong understanding of Azure compute, storage, data analytics platforms, database services, serverless services, containerization, and disaster recovery strategies.

Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts into business language.

Additional Skills and Information

Experience with Google Cloud (1-2 years) is advantageous.
