Job Description
Evident, the Emmy-winning nonprofit newsroom, is hiring an editor/animator to help create impactful visual investigations, documentaries, and short form social videos. The ideal candidate will have a track record of visualizing complex topics through artful motion graphics and animations, particularly for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The team places a high value on creativity and clarity in presentation and operates in a highly collaborative way that prioritizes innovation over an assembly-line approach.
This is a part-time position likely requiring 10-20 hours per week, with possibilities for expanding the work as our team grows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in visualizing complex topics through motion graphics and animations.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Familiarity with GEOlayers is a major plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
