Job Description

Learn.org is seeking a skilled AI-Assisted SEO Content Writer to produce high-quality, engaging, and optimized written content with the support of AI tools. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using AI models for content generation and a strong grasp of writing fundamentals. Responsibilities include creating and editing articles that align with Learn.org’s brand tone and SEO strategies, as well as improving site structure through strategic internal linking. The position is open only to US-based applicants at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Editor-in-Chief to generate written materials using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
• Generate and edit 10 to 15 articles per week, with the potential for additional work.
• Refine prompting to create high-quality drafts that adhere to brand style, voice, and tone.
• Ensure accuracy by fact-checking every article crafted with AI tools.
• Conduct light research and incorporate credible sources into AI-assisted drafts.
• Edit AI-generated copy for tone, clarity, and grammar.
• Ensure SEO compliance by natural use of target keywords and relevant internal/external links.
• Identify and implement relevant internal links within articles to support user navigation and SEO performance.
• Link child pages to parent pages to strengthen site structure and topical authority.
• Update older content regularly to improve information and internal linking.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of professional writing experience.
• Minimum of six months of experience working with AI content generation tools in a professional setting.
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering or AI model capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience with AI content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Close attention to detail regarding grammar, flow, and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt writing tone and style to target audiences.
• Familiarity with SEO content best practices, including on-page optimization and internal linking strategies.
• Comfort working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
• US-based applicants only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing for higher education and/or career-based industries.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
• Experience in digital content marketing.

Additional Information

Pay is per piece/per project, with an approximate hourly rate. A short test assignment will be required for candidates invited to the next hiring stage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
