Job Description

Senior Software Developer (Java, Springboot, Angular, Python, SSIS) located in Tampa Bay, FL (Hybrid role, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote). The position has a duration of 6 months plus with potential extensions and is contract-to-hire.

Note: Must be a Local Resident. NOT Considering Non-Local candidates.

Must be authorised to work for any employer and willing to work on W2 only. Can’t do C2C or 1099.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining web-based applications, APIs, integrations, reports, and ETL processes. The role also involves building and maintaining APIs, developing, testing, and optimizing SQL queries and data models for performance, creating and supporting data integrations using ETL tools with an emphasis on SSIS, and developing reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS, Tableau or similar.

Requirements

Required:

• 8-15 years of hands-on software development experience
• Expertise in back-end development using Java, Python, Spring Boot, or similar
• Proficiency in front-end development with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Strong SQL skills for writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance
• Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
• Proven ability to build, consume, and troubleshoot APIs
• Practical experience with data analysis and integration
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities

Preferred:

• Experience with SSIS ETL tools
• Proficiency using SSRS and Tableau for reporting and dashboards
• Oracle database development and performance tuning
• Background in financial services, asset management, or regulated industries
• Application modernization and legacy system support

Additional Information

This is a hybrid position requiring local residency in Tampa Bay, FL, and candidates must be authorized to work on a W2 basis only. Non-local candidates will not be considered.
