Family Legacy Interview Videographer [Urgent]

Documentary Filmmaker is needed in Seoul, South Korea.

We are looking for an experienced videographer in Seoul, Korea, to film a family legacy interview for my boss’ elderly parents.

The entire family will be in Seoul from 28 September to 2 October, and we are hoping to schedule the interview on either 30 September or 1 October. There is no strict deadline for the final edited video, as long as the interview and any necessary b-roll footage are captured before the family leaves Seoul on 2 October.

The goal of this project is to preserve their life stories, memories, and personal experiences for future generations. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and with experience filming sensitive, personal interviews and creating high-quality legacy content. Since this is our first time creating this type of documentary for the family, we would greatly appreciate your creative direction on how to approach the interview, storytelling, filming style, locations, and overall production process.

The filming location in Seoul has not been finalized yet, so we are open to your recommendations. The family will also be present during the shoot, and we are open to including family members in the interview or capturing meaningful moments with them through b-roll footage if you feel it would help tell the story better.

We would also love to hear your ideas and creative suggestions on how you would approach this project and bring it to life—including any concepts that may be beyond what we have initially imagined.
