Job Description

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for leading and supporting the design, integration, and implementation of scalable ERP solutions that align with strategic business objectives. This role serves as a bridge between functional requirements and technical execution, ensuring that solutions are designed for scalability and long-term growth. Key responsibilities include application design, configuration, implementation, maintenance of cross-functional applications, and guiding junior team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Builds and drives complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements to complex application support processes and procedures.
  • APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Performs and drives the design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of changes and fixes, in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Plays a key role in maintaining open communication with stakeholders and responding to support requests and needs.
  • APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts and leads advanced and complex application support activities to maintain system stability and meet business outcomes.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates effectively with business partners, technical peers, and vendors in multi-functional global teams, ensuring solutions and configurations align with business requirements.
  • INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Leads prioritization of incoming incident tickets and user requests, driving timely resolution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ERP & DOMAIN EXPERTISE: Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale applications (ERP preferred) in a techno-functional capacity, demonstrating strong solution design capabilities. Deep knowledge of one or more ERP business domains (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Agriculture, Finance).
  • FULL LIFE CYCLE IMPLEMENTATION: Experience delivering large and complex application implementations (e.g., ERP) across the full lifecycle, leveraging Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps practices.
  • PROGRAMMING & CUSTOMIZATION: Knowledge of languages such as Java, C#, Python, or platform-specific scripting for application customization.
  • DATA MIGRATION & INTEGRATION: Experience with data migration strategies and large-scale data transfers from legacy systems, including ETL processes.

Additional Information

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.

The expected salary for this position is $95,000- $145,000, varying based on location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
