Job Description

ILIA Beauty is looking for a seasoned affiliate marketing consultant to own our affiliate channel end-to-end. You’ll be the DRI for strategy, optimization, and agency management, while partnering closely with our PR, Influencer, and Social Commerce teams to hit our 2026 channel north star of $1.25M in revenue (40% YoY growth). This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role for someone who can operate both at the strategic level and in the weeds, translating data into action and keeping a complex partner ecosystem moving in sync.

This is a temporary, part-time role (~30 hours/week) with an anticipated contract duration of 6 months. There may be an opportunity to extend or convert this role to full-time based on the achievement of key business objectives. Our ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles, CA or Orange County, CA near one of two ILIA offices to allow for in-person collaboration but we are open to considering remote candidates.

Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Ownership

• Own ILIA’s affiliate channel P&L, with a primary goal of scaling affiliate channel revenue and owning strategy.
• Maintain the master ILIA Affiliate Calendar and ensure alignment across PR, launches, promotions, and agency activity.
• Lead channel strategy, prioritizing high-ROI partner groups and scaling areas of highest conversion velocity.
• Build frameworks to evaluate partner growth potential, efficiency, and long-term strategic value.
• Conduct monthly performance deep dives; identify growth levers and blockers, and report channel insights to leadership.
• Drive financial stewardship through cost-efficiency reviews, commission optimization, and incentive ROI analysis.

Agency Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic lead for Dreamday, ILIA’s affiliate agency.
• Supply performance insights to support negotiation of top-placement rates, improved commission tiers, and premium editorial slots.
• Partner with Dreamday on controlled experiments: commission boosts, timed bonuses, category-specific incentives.
• Ensure ILIA shows up in top positions for priority SEO terms through affiliate editorial coverage.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Develop cross-functional guidelines and shared workflows to ensure smooth coordination between PR, Influencer, Social Commerce, and affiliate agency.
• Serve as the connective tissue across teams, ensuring each workstream is moving forward, unblocked, and aligned to channel strategy and calendar.
• Bring a unified channel view to each CFX partner, translating performance data and priorities into clear direction and shared goals.
• Flag risks, dependencies, and gaps across workstreams early and drive resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years in affiliate marketing, with experience owning a channel or program end-to-end.
• Track record driving measurable revenue growth through affiliate, with strong command of commission structures, platform dynamics, and partner economics.
• Experience managing or collaborating with affiliate agencies (IMPACT, ShareASale, or similar).
• Familiarity with influencer affiliate platforms including LTK, ShopMy, Sephora Collective, and Ulta.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to turn performance data into clear strategy and stakeholder communication.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing complex cross-functional calendars and workflows.
• Prior experience in beauty, personal care, or a DTC brand is a plus.
