Job Description

Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Newbridge / Curragh, Co. Kildare, Ireland (Hybrid working Model – 2-3 days per week onsite)

Contract Duration: One (1) year with an option to extend annually up to a maximum of four (4) years

The client requires a partner to supplement existing IT software development teams in delivering strategic projects and IT consultancy. Services include IT consulting, digital transformation, custom software development, web application development, and support for bespoke applications among others. The client is enhancing and modernising several bespoke digital systems across various areas, such as the administration of horse racing, finance operations, integrity and compliance services, and more.

Role Overview: Evaluate cloud migration architecture, application, and database migration. Design landing patterns, connectivity, identity governance, and platform capabilities to host applications and data workloads in Azure.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements (Pass / Fail):

• Minimum of 7 years of senior-level experience.
• Native English speaker or CEFR C2 Proficiency/Mastery (or equivalent).

Key Deliverables:

• Application and Database Migration & Modernisation Services aligned with cloud computing capabilities and business strategies.
• Business outcomes including agility, performance, security and compliance, cost optimizations, and data readiness for AI/analytics.
