Mix My 90s Funk-Style Song

I need a mixing engineer to mix a groove-heavy song that combines DeBarge-inspired soul with '90s R&B, G-funk, and new jack swing. The production features warm analog-style synths, talkbox, layered harmonies, 909 drums, swung hi-hats, and a Moog-style bassline.

The mix should retain the track’s analog warmth, soulful vocal character, and dancefloor groove while delivering clear, modern production. The project is for a personal music release and needs to be completed within two weeks.

About the client
PedroKuzco is a sonic time machine that bridges the golden era of '80s soul with the bold, textured soundscapes of the '90s. Rooted in the silky elegance of DeBarge and elevated by the swagger of G-funk and new jack swing, the project is a love letter to analog warmth and futuristic funk.
At its core, PedroKuzco thrives on contrast: lush synthesizer pads collide with talkbox melodies, programmed drums groove with human feel, and nostalgic harmonies meet modern production clarity. Every track is designed to feel like a sunset drive through a neon city—smooth, confident, and unapologetically groovy.
Whether it’s a late-night cruise anthem or a dancefloor-ready banger, PedroKuzco doesn’t just reference the past—it reimagines it.
