Job Description

Our client, a leading New York City creative studio, is seeking a talented and passionate Digital Designer to join their collaborative Creative team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a multidisciplinary designer with a strong portfolio in digital marketing, web design, branding, visual identity, and print.

Requirements

Responsibilities of the Digital Designer:

• Collaborate with various teams to execute innovative work across a variety of clients and industries.
• Design and develop digital marketing campaigns, websites, email campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media assets.
• Contribute to brand identities, visual systems, print collateral, and other marketing materials as needed.
• Translate client objectives into compelling design solutions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, site maps, mockups, and other digital design documentation.
• Design web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, and digital assets.
• Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across deliverables.
• Prepare files for production with understanding of best practices.
• Partner with Developers and vendors to ensure design accuracy.
• Present creative concepts to internal teams and clients confidently.
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining creative vision.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Contribute to the overall creative vision and maintain design excellence.

Required Experience/Skills for the Digital Designer:

• 1 - 5 years of relevant design experience in a creative environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing multidisciplinary design experience with an emphasis on digital.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Understanding of digital design practices including UI/UX and web design.
• Strong foundation in typography, color theory, and branding.
• Knowledge of production processes for both digital and print.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills to present creative decisions.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Curious and creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Digital Designer:

• Experience in a creative agency or fast-paced creative environment.
• Familiarity with After Effects or motion design tools is preferred.
• Experience with WordPress, Keynote, or Canva is a plus.
• Experience with various brands in lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, or retail.
• Familiarity with motion design and animation.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related field is required.

Additional Information

Salary/Hourly Rate: $70k - $85k
