Job Description

The role involves creating Power BI reports and data models, conducting special assignments, assessing stakeholder interests and business needs, ensuring IT process alignment, supporting system and UAT testing, and participating in knowledge transfer. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop Business Intelligence products.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Proven work experience as a Power BI Report Developer
• Demonstrated experience with M, DAX, and Power Query
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and the Power Platform
• Proven experience with SQL Server and Power BI Datasets
• Proven, demonstrable experience in data modeling and data visualizations for Power BI; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies

Skill Set Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Use Power Query to extract data from different data sources and choose a storage mode and connectivity type
• Profile, clean, and load data into Power BI
• Design data models that are intuitive, high-performing, and simple to maintain
• Create compelling Power BI report designs and report formatting, including report navigation for all audience types
• Examine, sort, and present data using Power BI in a cohesive manner
• Connect Power BI reports to data sources

Technical Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Power BI Report Developer
• Demonstrated experience with M, DAX, and Power Query
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and the Power Platform, including Azure Data Factory
• Proven experience with SQL Server and Power BI Datasets
• Proven, demonstrable experience in data modeling and data visualizations for Power BI; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies
• Knowledge of data analysis and data management
• Experience in understanding, capturing, and analyzing complex and sometimes competing business requirements to develop Power BI and Business Intelligence products
• Demonstrated experience with performance tuning in Power BI
• Demonstrated experience with data sources for Power BI including DirectQuery and Import
• Demonstrated experience with Power BI datasets and refresh

Documentation, Collaboration & Communication Skills:

• Ability to partner with internal/external stakeholders and liaise with technical experts and non-technical colleagues
• Proven experience in developing documentation
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with Developers, Testers, and Program Managers
• Proven experience in producing diagrams, videos, and other visual content
• Experience analyzing customer feedback to improve customer experience
• Experience in clarifying complex business challenges and ensuring agreement on business and technology requirements

Additional Information

• Mandatory Requirements: At least 5 years of experience.
