Job Description

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with at least 18 months of work experience and a bachelor’s degree (or greater) in computer science or a related field. The candidate should have a strong focus and work experience in mobile development. Key responsibilities include ownership of assigned application design and development tasks, vetting technical requirements with business, timely debugging and resolution of reported issues, assisting team members with coding/technical issues, managing data, creating technical documentation, and integrating APIs. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite and two days remote, and has a duration of 12 months with an option to extend.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months experience as an iOS developer.
• BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Xcode & Instruments, Swift, Swift UI & Objective-C.
• Experience with design patterns (MVC, MVVM, MV, Singleton, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), Concurrency, multithreading, and operational queues).
• Experience with Core/Swift Data & persistent stores.
• Experience handling & parsing JSON from Webservices/APIs.
• Experience using tools like GitHub, Firebase, Crashlytics, Swift, CI/CD, and AI tools such as Sentry.IO and Cursor.
• Experience with UI/UX designs and wireframes.
• Experience in creating technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience with Unit Testing and code reviews.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing leadership and mentoring.

Beneficial Requirements

• Experience programming in Kotlin to support Android development.
• Experience with payment gateways, ticket validation/QR scanning SDKs, mobile ticketing app-to-app integration, CoreBluetooth/BLE, and external accessories integration.
• Network protocol experience.
• Cloud technologies knowledge.
• Familiarity with C++, PHP, .Net, C#, JavaScript, and Oracle SQL.
