Job Description

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience working with Oracle and MS SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack. This role involves both independent task execution and collaborative work within a team-oriented, agile environment. The position is located at 2 Broadway, NY, and is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site (or more as needed) and 2 days remote.

Requirements

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
• Ability to configure and manage Internet Information Services (IIS), including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificate installation and renewal.
• Experience using GitBash for cloning repositories, managing branches, and pulling updates as part of the development workflow.
• Proficiency in building, troubleshooting, and debugging applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Experience performing unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality, stability, and quality.
• Knowledge of configuring connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and related deployment configurations.
• Experience working with MS SQL Server to write queries, stored procedures, and perform basic database maintenance.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.
• Experience in collaborating with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and agile workflow management.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Experience in participating in peer code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of proper version control practices, branching strategies, and deployment readiness across multiple environments.
• Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
