Job Description

Looking for a 3D Character Artist to model and texture an original roster of stylized pirate heroes for a Roblox wave-survival game. We are aiming for a high-personality cartoon aesthetic (think Pixar meets Sea of Thieves) with clean, mobile-optimized topology.

Scope & Technical Pipeline

• Initial Roster: 5 total playable characters (starting with 1 flagship hero).
• Skeletal Setup:
• 4 Characters: Built on a standardized R15 or Rthro Skinned Mesh skeleton structure to support shared Roblox movement and tool animations.
• 1 Character: Requires a fully custom non-standard rig for specialized quadruped locomotion.

Requirements

• Strong experience in stylized 3D character sculpting, modeling, and cartoon texturing in Blender.
• Clean, deformation-ready topology and weight painting optimized for real-time game performance.
• Familiarity with the Roblox character pipeline (specifically R15 Skinned Meshes and custom avatar imports).

Compensation & Application

• Type: Paid freelance contract (Fixed-bid per character model).
• Growth: Five characters are currently planned, as well as enemies, bosses, and other various assets. Plenty of room for more opportunity!
