Job Description

Sportiefs is seeking an experienced Senior Brand & Packaging Designer for a fixed-price freelance project. The designer will be responsible for developing a cohesive packaging and physical touchpoint system across various elements of the Sportiefs brand, which spans fashion, matcha, beauty, sport, and hospitality. This project involves working with existing brand identity to create an elevated, recognizable brand experience across packaging, retail, café, beauty, e-commerce, and accessories.

Requirements

The ideal applicant should have:

• Experience in premium CPG, beauty, fashion, food & beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle branding.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, packaging design, and cohesive brand creation across diverse physical products.
• Experience preparing artwork for manufacturing and printing.
• A style that is elevated, editorial, intentional, and timeless.

Project Scope

The project scope includes the development of visual and packaging systems for various Sportiefs categories:

• Sportiefs Retail & Apparel: Shopping bags, tissue paper, stickers/seals, hangtags, garment packaging, thank-you/inserts.
• Sportiefs Café / Matcha: Hot and cold cups, cup sleeves, napkins, takeaway bags, drink stickers/seals, menu/café branding elements.
• Sportiefs Beauty: Primary and secondary packaging, labels, beauty retail packaging.
• E-Commerce & Shipping: Branded shipping boxes, mailers, custom tissue paper, packing tape, unboxing experience.
• Matcha Accessories: Packaging concepts for matcha whisks, bowls, scoops, sifters, sets/kits.

Deliverables

The final deliverables should include:

• Complete packaging design system
• Production-ready artwork and print-ready files
• Editable/source files and CMYK/Pantone specifications
• Artwork adapted to manufacturer-provided dielines
• Recommendations for materials, finishes, etc.
• High-quality realistic mockups for approval
• A system adaptable for future collections and product drops

Project Structure

This will be a one-time, fixed-price project. Compensation will be based on experience, portfolio, scope, and proposed deliverables. The project will be structured in milestones, with final payment upon delivery of all approved files. Applicants should outline the number of revision rounds included in their proposals.
