Job Description

We are working with a government entity in Austin, Texas, to find a .NET developer to support an ongoing upgrade project. The position requires the candidate to be on-site downtown in the Capitol building 5 days per week. This role involves supporting several inter-government projects and platform enhancements, including a portal project aimed at upgrading the way the Government interacts with both internal and external partners, moving away from traditional Client Services Systems.

Requirements

• Back End Development
• 3 years + of experience with .Net Core and/or C#
• MVC
• SQL

Bonus Points

• Any Government experience is welcome, but not essential.
• JavaScript experience
• Experience with Azure

Additional Information

Ideal candidates will be able to work autonomously, have great communication skills, and collaborate effectively with a small team of Engineers. The role primarily involves middleware and back-end development using .Net 5, moving to .Net 6 (.Net Core) while utilizing SQL for database management. JavaScript experience is valued, with the front end using React.

This will be a six-month contract initially with the possibility of extension. This is a W2 contract, and we cannot sponsor or engage C2C. Parking will be available on-site, and you will gain visibility of other opportunities within the system after the project concludes.
