Role: React.js Developer - Contract

Location: Remote

Start Date: Mid-September 2026

End Date: March 2027

Daily Rate: Inside IR35

Daily Rate breakdown: Traditional Daily Rate: Up to £350 per day, dependent on experience; Agreed Contract Rate (ACR): £269 per day; Equivalent Annual Salary: £62,568 + £7,551.42 holiday pay; Payroll provider: Rockford Payroll.

The role will focus on delivering technology solutions predominantly within the Financial Services, Government, and Public Sectors. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective solutions. The ideal candidate will be driven, collaborative, and analytical, specializing in building custom software solutions.

Requirements

Experience & Skills Required:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a developer, with demonstrable experience building custom software solutions.
• Advanced React.js development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, with experience delivering responsive enterprise web applications.
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
• Node.js development experience; at least one developer within the team must be able to support Node.js build activity.
• Experience using Git or similar version control tools for code management.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization, including JWT and OAuth.
• Experience working with DynamoDB CRUD operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with end users and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and understand business problems, then document solutions clearly in detailed design documentation.
• Experience with testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with Agile development lifecycle methodologies.

Nice to have:

• AWS basics, including familiarity with core cloud concepts and services.
• API Gateway knowledge.
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Zoho experience, including Zoho application configuration, integration, or development.
