Job Description

We are hiring college students for a paid, part-time UGC (User-Generated Content) role to create short-form content focused on real student life, including studying, consistency, and navigating summer challenges. This internship offers flexibility and an opportunity to build skills, a portfolio, and learn about effective performance on TikTok and Reels.

King of the Curve (KOTC) helps students study smarter by turning lectures and study notes into interactive tools that enhance learning. Our engaging platform is designed to be ADHD-friendly and predictive of real test-day performance, having assisted over 500,000 learners in improving their scores.

Requirements

What You’ll Create:

• Storytimes or “yapping” content (e.g., study struggles and solutions)
• Trend-based content adapted to students’ experiences
• App demos (e.g., narrated screen recordings)
• Reaction-style videos (live or silent)
• Testimonial-style UGC that feels unscripted and authentic

What You’ll Do:

• Film original short-form videos from your phone
• Deliver scripted lines naturally or riff around prompts
• Capture real student experiences and perspectives
• Edit for short-form pacing
• Create variations of content to test performance
• Iterate based on team feedback

What You Bring:

• Current college student or recent graduate
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Comfort on camera
• Basic editing skills (CapCut, TikTok editor, etc.)
• Strong sense of authenticity and relatability

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience creating UGC or short-form content
• Strong understanding of trends and formats
• Interest in content creation, marketing, or social media

Additional Information

• Flexible, remote-friendly work (minimum of 1–5 hours/week)
• Pay: $25.11 - $30.24 per hour
