Data Engineer is needed in United States.
We need a data engineer to plan and build a workflow for analysing multiple NASA MODIS and Sentinel-2 satellite data pipelines. The work includes downloading specified satellite data, designing an automated processing pipeline, running Python and inversion-model analyses and calculations, producing graphs and visualisations, and archiving project files. Experience with Rasterio, GDAL, Fiona, Shapely, STAC, NetCDF, HDF5, multispectral imagery, Google Earth Engine, and cloud-based raster processing is required. The project is expected to be delivered within two weeks, with potential follow-up work.
