Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Content Producer with a creative eye, collaborative spirit, and versatility to execute on a wide variety of projects. One day you might be lighting a clean product still; the next you’re shooting a documentary-style look at something being made in our studio. You feel comfortable working in diverse styles to bring the product and brand story to life, producing content such as clean product stills, demo videos, targeted lifestyle shots, and launch content for new products.

Requirements

You’d become our ongoing visual creative partner, responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering ready-to-post content on Instagram, YouTube, and our site. We seek someone who can carry projects through from concept to completion independently, bringing creative energy into the process.

• Your reel shows real range, with photo and video you shot and edited yourself
• You’re as comfortable with a clean product shot as with a loose, handheld, in-the-room story
• You can run a small shoot solo, meet deadlines, and organize files without needing hand-holding
• You have taste and opinions, pushing to make our content better rather than just executing the brief
• You’re local to the South Bay and easy to collaborate with

About SlimFold
SlimFold has made minimalist wallets since 2009 and is Wirecutter’s top non-leather wallet pick. We produce our products in our San Jose studio, aiming to visually communicate the brand, craft, and process.

The Setup
Roughly an afternoon a week on-site in San Jose (101 & Gish), with occasional location work and remote editing. About 10–15 hours a week total, with flexible timing according to other projects you may have.
