Job Description

We are seeking a Data Security and Cloud Engineer to be part of our IT Solutions Integrator/Consulting Firm. This role provides an opportunity to experience, grow, and contribute, while earning at least 10% above market standards. You will be involved in an exciting long-term project, working closely with application architects, security teams, and data engineering teams.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Application Authorization & Integration professional who can effectively collaborate with technical stakeholders to address application architectures, integration patterns, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Application Architects and technical stakeholders to understand application architecture, design, integration patterns, and security requirements.
• Evaluate different application integration patterns for authorization services.
• Define and recommend approaches for integrating enterprise authorization services with applications and APIs.
• Test and validate authorization policies using REST APIs and Postman.
• Analyze API requests and responses to troubleshoot issues related to authorization and access control.
• Work with development teams to resolve integration and authorization-related challenges.
• Understand modern cloud data and analytics platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Assess data platform architectures for authorization requirements.
• Apply knowledge of security concepts within cloud environments.
• Collaborate with teams to drive successful adoption of the enterprise authorization framework.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure secure and maintainable application integrations.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience working with Application Architects, Solution Architects, and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and security requirements.
• Experience with enterprise authorization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Postman.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to API and access control.
• Good knowledge of authentication, authorization concepts, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience working across Application, Security, and Data Engineering teams.
• Ability to translate security and authorization requirements into technical solutions.
