Creative Director is needed in San Diego, United States.

I am an R&B/pop artist based in San Diego seeking a creative director or visual creative to develop a cohesive visual identity for a series of single releases and a future album, with delivery needed by the end of October 2026. The project explores a journey from the innocence of first love through toxic experiences and coping with heartbreak, aimed primarily at women while remaining relatable to anyone who has experienced love and loss.

I need support with either digital or practical visuals, or both. Digital work may include a brand guide, logo, typography, colour palette, and potentially animation for lyric videos or visualisers. Practical work may include set design for photo and video shoots, including backdrops, props, and outfits. Applicants who can support practical effects should be based in or able to work in the San Diego or Los Angeles area.

About the client
I am a musician/artist based in San Diego looking to create a cohesive visual experience for an upcoming single rollout and album. I create R&B and pop music, and my target audience is primarily women. My music will resonate with anyone who has been in love, been hurt by love, and has explored different coping mechanisms to recover from that pain. The overall vision of this project is transformation from the innocence and naiveté of wanting to fall in love for the first time, to gradually becoming jaded by toxic experiences and ultimately adopting some of these toxic behaviors. This is not a final destination, but rather an honest and vulnerable journey that hopefully many will relate to.
