Job Description

This is a temporary freelance position that will be paid through a third-party payroll company. The assignment length is 3 months with the opportunity to be extended. The rate for this position is $40.00 per hour.

About the company: TMB (Trusted Media Brands) is a community-driven entertainment company producing content inspired by our fans, engaging audiences across food, home, lifestyle, wellness, pets, humor, and active lifestyle verticals. They reach 60 million people in the U.S. and deliver over two billion minutes of monthly video viewership. The position is based in a hybrid format from the office in Culver City, CA, requiring the candidate to go into the office 3-4 times a week.

The producer will work closely with the editorial teams and report to the VP of the Digital Studio with a dotted line to the Brand Director (The Pet Collective and People Are Awesome). This role involves contributing to the creation of short and long-form digital content for TPC’s social channels and website, along with developing original social content for other brands within the company.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage assigned video content and original series video production in conjunction with the studio production team.
• Assist in the management and tracking of the Brand Production Slate.
• Create and present scripts or outlines to Brand Director, VP Digital Studio, and Sr. Producers.
• Work with editorial teams to create programming across all major social platforms.
• Plan original video that aligns with the brand’s content themes and social trends.
• Deliver projects with the highest quality in a timely manner and on budget.
• Develop workable budgets, work plans, and realistic timetables.
• Help coordinate internal requirements to define project objectives, tasks, and deliverables.
• Be willing to help with the entire spectrum of production work, from small to large budget productions.
• Other duties as assigned by Brand Director and Vice President, Digital Studio.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a creative producer or director in a production environment (social, digital, broadcast).
• Deep knowledge of and experience creating content for all social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.).
• Comfortable concepting, shooting, editing, and posting content on social.
• Proficient in Premiere and Photoshop as an editor.
• Proficient in iPhone videography and DSLR cameras as a shooter (visual and sound).
• Knowledge and understanding of standard production/post-tech tools and workflow.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights/weekends as requested.
• Familiarity and experience working with, casting, and recruiting talent, social influencers, and creators.
• Passion for digital entertainment and content.
• Experience executing projects from inception through editorial and completion.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge.
• Experience with project management software.
