Job Description

Peraton is looking for a .NET Software Developer to join their highly performing team supporting the DOS eOPF Program. This is a short-term, fully remote position for 7 months, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the US.

What you will do:

• Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based, technical, and business software systems.
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug software.
• Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
• Provide analytical support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
• Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to directives, standards, and guidelines.
• Ensure design mitigations are captured in documentation and verify implementation.
• Interface with government engineers/architects regarding architecture standards and guidelines.
• Define templates and best practices for development teams.
• Coordinate with platform vendors for support requests.
• Troubleshoot issues with operations personnel and application users.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD.
• Experience with C#, Visual Basic, .NET, MVC, Angular, JavaScript, JSON, Oracle, PL/SQL, Web Services, HTML, and HTML5.
• Experience working in agile, software development, and production environments.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance or be eligible for an interim Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a full stack developer.
• Experience with e.POWER.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Hold an active government clearance.

Additional Information

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000, determined by various factors such as position responsibilities, experience, education, and geographic location. Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
