micro1 is engaging German Audio Recording Experts to participate in a project supporting a major customer focused on advancing next-generation AI systems. In this role, you’ll apply your professional audio recording and German language expertise to help create high-quality training data for AI systems, contributing to how models understand and generate natural, accurate, and authentic German speech. No prior experience in AI is required; your language and audio expertise are what matter.

Requirements

Scope of Work:

• Produce and submit high-quality German audio recordings using professional-grade recording equipment.
• Follow predefined scripts, prompts, and recording guidelines to generate natural and accurate speech samples.
• Ensure all recordings meet required technical and linguistic standards, including clarity, pronunciation, diction, consistency, and audio quality.
• Submit a representative voice recording as part of the project’s sample review and quality assessment process.
• Review feedback from project reviewers and make adjustments or re-recordings as needed to meet quality requirements.
• Document recording setups, workflows, and any technical or production issues that may affect data quality.
• Deliver recordings consistently and within established project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Native-level fluency in German with excellent pronunciation, diction, and natural conversational delivery.
• 3+ years of professional audio recording experience.
• Hands-on experience with professional-grade microphones, recording equipment, and audio software.
• Strong understanding of audio quality control, including background noise, recording levels, clarity, consistency, and sound accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and/or English for project collaboration and documentation.
• Experience in voice narration, dubbing, voice-over, broadcasting, podcasting, or related professional performance work is a plus.
• Ability to accurately interpret and deliver a variety of scripts, prompts, and conversational scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow technical and linguistic specifications.

Additional Information

Equipment Requirement:
Candidates must have access to professional audio recording equipment suitable for producing high-quality voice recordings. You will need to have your professional audio equipment available during the interview and sample recording process.

Compensation Structure:
Compensation is output-based; experts are paid for approved recordings that meet the project specifications and quality requirements. The amount of work and time required may vary depending on the recording task and individual workflow. Minimum submission requirements may apply.

Start Timeline & Availability:
We typically fill roles within 48 hours and are looking for experts who are ready to start promptly. If selected, we expect you to begin contributing shortly after completing onboarding and receiving the project instructions.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
