Job Description

We’re seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creator to plan, produce, and publish engaging content across our clients’ (and our) social media platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, understands what makes content perform, and can juggle multiple brand voices and content calendars with creativity and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original content (graphics, short-form video, photos, captions, and copy) for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
• Plan and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with brand and campaign goals.
• Stay current on platform trends, audio, formats, and best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.
• Edit photo and video content using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Photoshop, or similar.
• Write clear, on-brand captions and copy tailored to each platform’s tone and audience.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs when needed, and flag opportunities or issues.
• Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and suggest content adjustments.
• Collaborate with the agency team on campaign concepts, client requests, and brand guidelines.
• Support and execute with on-location content shoots or influencer events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience creating content for social media (UGC, freelance, or professional experience all welcome) Personal social media is not considered to be professional experience unless for UGC content platform.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling and platform-native content.
• Proficiency with content creation/editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Understanding of major platform algorithms, formats, and trends (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
• Photography or videography skills.
• Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule.
• A portfolio, personal social accounts, or samples of past content work.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing multiple brand accounts or working in an agency setting.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, etc.).
• Familiarity with paid social basics (boosted posts, ad creative).

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
