Job Description

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines and data integration solutions using the Ab Initio tools suite. The selected candidate will work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, five days a week, and must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. Key responsibilities include building and testing ETL applications, managing batch and real-time interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions while ensuring compliance with security and data management policies.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s and 5+ years of experience, Bachelor’s and 7+ years of experience, or 13+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills:

• Experience identifying requirements, researching options, designing, and implementing solutions at a leadership level on project work.
• Experience scripting in a Linux environment to automate ETL solutions and data migration jobs.
• Experience with data warehousing designs/concepts such as star and snowflake schemas.
• Understanding and application of quality techniques and practices (automated unit testing, Test Driven Design/Development, performance analysis, continuous integration).
• Ability to assist with architectural tactical thinking, information solutions, and road maps to drive architectural recommendations.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive production-like tasks on-time and error-free.
• Prior experience working in a federal agency or public sector environment.
• Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.

• Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, 5 days a week.
