Job Summary
The Senior Web Analyst reports to the VP of Experience Analytics, empowering clients to achieve their business objectives through analysis of their digital experiences, including websites and apps. Responsibilities include delivering website experience analytics, having expertise in both Adobe and Google analytics products, and knowledge of SQL, tag management, and data visualization tools. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for developing engaging digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

Experience Analytics

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis regarding performance and trends of marketing initiatives and their impact on client business.
  • Serve as an individual contributor in completing analytics work for clients.
  • Lead development of client-specific measurement strategies and frameworks for assessing experience performance.
  • Collaborate with senior members and other teams to develop measurement strategies aligned to business or marketing objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights and consistent root-cause analysis for decision-making across clients.
  • Analyze website data for user pain points, feature usage patterns, and conversion drivers.
  • Execute various analysis techniques and communicate insights effectively.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and data transformations using data visualization platforms.
  • Ensure website analytics tracking/tag management is accurate and reporting correctly.
  • Assess tracking gaps and set requirements for new tracking implementations.
  • Partner with internal teams and non-Marketing clients to deliver insights and develop reports.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. marketing, statistics).
  • 4+ years of experience in web analytics (focus on Google Analytics/GA4), preferably within an agency.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
  • Experience with tag management tools (Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch).
  • Experience with A/B testing and data visualization/analysis tools (Excel, Tableau).
  • Good understanding of descriptive statistics.
  • Experience in an agency setting.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Desire to learn web development or data science is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Comfortable in a startup environment: resourceful, flexible, resilient, and capable of handling rapid changes.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • GA4 training and certification preferred.
  • Willingness to get trained and certified on additional platforms is required.

Compensation

Salary Range: $46.00 to $55.00 an hour. Actual rate may vary based on skill sets, experience, and other factors.
